Nikodem Cezar (born December 3rd 1977) is the current Prime Minister of Poland and has been in office since the end of 2008. He was born in Łódź, Poland.
Early life[]
Nikodem was born in Łódź, and was the oldest of two to Antoni Cezar, and Natalia Cezar. He lived in Łódź for most of is life. At the age of 20 Nikodem joined the Polish Land Forces Special Forces (GROM) and participate din many missions. In 2007 Nikodem retired and got a degree in Political Sciences at The University of Warsaw and then was elected to the Sejm for the Łódź constituency.
Military Career[]
Nikodem was a member of GROM 10 years. He helped capture war criminals in former Yugoslavia, and participated in Operation Enduring Freedom, The War in Afghanistan, Operation Iraqi freedom, and the Occupation of Iraq. He eventually retired back home and joined the political scheme.
Political Career[]
In 2007, at the age of 30 Nikodem was elected as a Civic Platform Sejm member. As a Member of Parliament Nikodem was very Popular in his party and eventually was noticed by former Prime Minister Donald Tusk. In 2008 Prime Minister Tusk saw great potential in Nikodem and appointed him as Vice-Prime Minister, and Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration. In December 29, 2008, Prime Minister Donald Tusk was assassinated by an Islamic terrorist angered by Poland's presence in Afghanistan and Iraq. The next day after the assassination Nikodem was declared the new Prime Minister.

Nikodem is married to Katarzyna Cezar. He has one newborn daughter named Natasza.
